Summer 2026 — Corruption (Part 3)

Summer Event Part 3: Corruption. Every monster has a 25% chance to drop Summer Tokens (up to 50/day). Killing a World Elite opens a corruption breach that floods the level and spawns monsters; further elite kills raise breach level. As of Update 0.317.2, killing an elite while a breach is already at maximum level extends breach duration. Elites drop the cooldown-reduction buff far more often (12% → 40%). The CDR buff also grants 50% Area Size — a new stat that enlarges skill visuals and hit areas. This run is trade-focused (no 21-day login grid / daily EXP-Gold buff from earlier summer versions).

Duration
July 29, 2026 – September 2, 2026Part 3 runs July 29 through September 2, 2026. Tokens from earlier summer runs do not carry over.

Mechanics

Online requirement

Requires being online for core event progression.

  • Ghost spawns
  • Mimic spawns
  • Vigor Buff active progression
  • Cooldown Reduction Buff drops

Exception: Rewards purchased with Summer Coins retain their value and functions during offline progression.

Combat targets

Ghosts

Translucent, holographic variations of regional monsters that manifest upon defeating standard enemies.

Loot: Inherits the base drop table of the defeated monster type, augmented with event-specific currencies and temporary modifiers.

Mimics

Event-exclusive World Elite replacements that trigger randomly when defeating enemies across any active map.

Scaling: Health pool and overall difficulty scale dynamically based on the current map tier.

Corruption Breach

Opened by killing a World Elite: corruption floods from the kill spot and monsters pour out. Further elite kills raise the breach level; each level spawns its own monster stream. Levels expire one at a time until the last collapses.

Loot: Update 0.317.2: killing an elite while the breach is already at maximum level extends breach duration instead of wasting the kill.

Temporary buffs

Vigor Buff

Activation
Can be claimed once per daily server reset via the event NPC or acquired as rare loot from Mimics.
Duration
60 minutes
Effects
×1.5 experience modifier and ×1.5 gold multiplier.
Strategy
Best activated exclusively when planning an uninterrupted one-hour online farming session to maximize efficiency.

Cooldown Reduction Buff(Also known as: Rewind Buff)

Activation
As of Update 0.317.2, elites drop this buff far more often (12% → 40% chance). Mimics / event elites remain the primary farm source; ghost Star Card drops may still apply at lower rates.
Duration
3 minutes from Ghost drops; 9 minutes from Mimic drops.
Visual indicator
Character model scales up to 1.5× regular size.
Notes
Grants extensive skill cooldown reduction and 50% Area Size (Update 0.317.2). Area Size enlarges both the visual effect and the actual hit area of skills. Character model still scales up to about 1.5× while active.
